We utilize a fleet of 54 inland marine tank barges, 29 inland push boats and 4 offshore tug/barge units.
We utilize a fleet of 54 inland marine tank barges, 29 inland push boats and 4 offshore tug/barge units to transport petroleum products and by-products domestically, coastwise and along the inland waterways systems, and internationally, including the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. Our largest marine transportation customers include major and independent oil and gas refining companies, petroleum marketing companies and Martin Resource Management Corporation. The Partnership has invested significantly to modernize our fleet. As a result, the average age of our vessels is 19 years. We believe our modernized fleet is more attractive to our existing customers as well as potential new customers. In addition, our fleet contains vessels that reflect our focus on specialty product transportation.
